Kendra Scott at Spring Creek PlazaTrusting a path in life can be one the most challenging and scary obstacles to overcome. We have been blessed in our special needs journey. We have had many obstacles and I'm sure many more to come. But the thing is, thru every obstacle we tend to get a gentle nudge that we are headed down the right path. The local Kendra Scott found our little non profit and reached out to do a fundraiser with part of the proceeds going to our foundation. The event was on Mar 3rd of this year. We couldn't be more happy with the outcome and more appreciative of Kendra Scott. Good things are a coming.
Southern Nazarene UniversityThere are times in life when one needs to sit back and realize the blessings they have in life. No matter how small or large, when you realize how fortunate the situation is, it becomes a moment to cherish. We have been blessed with a relationship with Southern Nazarene University Football team. They hosted a camp at their facilities for the community we serve. I cannot express enough the happiness this caused the special needs children that attended. The players and coaches were beyond supportive and welcoming. There was much fun had and many tears of happiness shed. We will be making this an annual event and will look to build upon this every year.
